I’m the founder of Heart + Host, a Catholic mom of two, former Spanish teacher, and resource creator living in Pennsylvania with my husband, our two little ones, and our mini goldendoodle.
Heart + Host was created from my love of teaching, my desire to help children know and love the Catholic faith, and my own life as a mom trying to bring faith into the ordinary moments of family life.
I was born and raised Catholic. I attended Catholic elementary school and later continued learning about the faith through CCD classes.
When I was confirmed, I chose St. Cecilia as my Confirmation saint because of my love for music. I have played piano since kindergarten and now teach private piano lessons to beginner students.
Some of the saints who inspire me most are St. Monica, our Blessed Mother Mary, and St. Thérèse of Lisieux. Their examples of prayer, trust, motherhood, and quiet faithfulness continue to encourage me.
In college, my faith became even more personal through Catholic Campus Ministry. I served as community service co-chair and later as vice president, and it was there that I met one of my closest friends, who later became the godmother to my son.
I live in Pennsylvania with my husband, our two children, and our mini goldendoodle. These days, our family life is full of library storytimes, playing outside, books, crafts, and simple faith activities around the kitchen table.
I also started a Pray + Play group at our parish for moms and young children to gather in faith, friendship, and fellowship. It has been a beautiful reminder that we were not meant to raise our children in the faith alone.
Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I taught Spanish for eight years. During that time, I created Llearning Llama, where I shared practical and engaging resources for Spanish teachers.
Now, I bring that same love for creating educational resources to Heart + Host.
Heart + Host offers Catholic printables, activities, prayer resources, liturgical year ideas, and faith-filled materials for children and families. My hope is to create resources that are beautiful, approachable, and easy to use in real family life.
